One-of-a-kind Golf Fundraiser for Women

Local residents invited to support children and families in need

BOSTON, MA — Lady golfers and their friends are invited to participate in a one-of-a-kind event to benefit at-risk children and families. The Home for Little Wanderers announced that its 1st Home in One Women’s Outing will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at The International, 159 Ballville Road, Bolton, MA.

"This is a golf tournament for women unlike any other in Massachusetts," said Clemmie Cash, a Board Member of The Home and Chair of the golf tournament committee. "We are hosting an event which encourages women, including some well-known business executives, to invite their friends for a day out of the office, or without the kids, to support a good cause. Our event is unique because guests have an opportunity to choose between playing 18 holes, taking a ‘getting started’ golf lesson or being pampered at the spa. The event promises a memorable day of networking, fun and fundraising."

Once recognized for being a cozy privately owned corporate club, today The International is one of the nation’s premier golf destinations. Now is your chance to enjoy this exceptional golf experience at the first Home in One Women’s Outing. Space is limited and participants are encouraged to register early. Registration is $500 per person and includes a choice of a round of golf, golf lessons or spa treatments in addition to lunch, a reception, and dinner.
