Young Professionals Group Celebrates Boston's Commitment to Giving Back with "Home for the Holidays"

An evening of fun, fundraising and networking at Forum to benefit The Home for Little Wanderers

Celebrate the holidays and Boston’s commitment to giving back with young professionals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. The Home for Little Wanderers’ Young Professionals Group is hosting its annual holiday fundraiser, “Home for the Holidays,” at Forum Bar & Restaurant, 755 Boylston Street, Boston on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to raise money and awareness for one of the area’s oldest child and family service agencies. The event will feature an evening of networking, food, silent auction and a raffle. Tickets are available for $50 in advance at www.thehome.org/homefortheholidays or $60 at the door. Guests who bring a donation of a new, unwrapped toy or gift card to support The Home’s Big Wishes Gift Drive will be entered for a chance to win one of many great prizes.

Proceeds from “Home for the Holidays” support The Home for Little Wanderers which serves children and families living in at-risk circumstances by creating a wide network of support and providing a great source of strength. The Home makes a positive impact on over 7,000 lives each year across Boston and Eastern Massachusetts helping children and families through some of the hardest times in their lives. For additional information, please contact Jamille Benson, The Home for Little Wanderers, 617-927-0682 or jbenson@thehome.org.

"Home for the Holidays" coincides with The Shops at Prudential Center’s 31 Nights of Light. Guests will be able to see The Pru lit up in The Home’s colors as they shine a light on the non-profit’s mission as they celebrate from across the street.
