The Rice Center Supports and services
At The Center for Early Childhood

The Rice Center has a multidisciplinary staff which is comprised of licensed psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors who have expertise in the mental health needs of children, their parents and caregivers. Our staff helps families with children under 5 years old and expecting parents who need support in some of the following areas:

      • Issues relating to trauma 
      • Attachment disorders 
      • Anxiety and/or depression 
      • Chronic Stress 
      • Behavioral issues 
      • Post Partum adjustments and depression 
      • Social and emotional health 
      • Mood disorders

At The Rice Center, we help children and their families of all socioeconomic status address their challenges through intervention and treatment, including:

      • Parent-child therapy 
      • Individual counseling 
      • Couples therapy 
      • Group therapy 
      • Parent groups 
      • Parent-child psychotherapy

The transition to parenthood can be a difficult time. The Rice Center also offers services to pregnant mothers and their partners regarding their parenting concerns and care giving environment.
