Organize Your Own Event

Are you looking for a way to help children who have been abused or neglected?
Perhaps you have a friend or relative who has been served by one of The Home’s programs or maybe one of our many services has had a positive impact on your own life. Whether you have a personal connection to The Home or you are just looking for a fun way to raise money for a good cause, organizing your own event is a great way to get involved.

In The Home’s 200-year history we have seen events that come in all shapes and sizes, for all audiences. Whether it’s a simple fundraiser like a car wash or one that requires more planning, such as a concert or golf tournament, every event makes a difference.

Let us help you plan an event!
The Home’s Event Planning Guide is designed to provide you with resources to help you plan a successful fundraiser. These are simply suggestions; the type of event and its details are up to you. So use your imagination and have fun!

Once you have figured out the logistics of your event, please see the following guidelines regarding our approval process. We look forward to hearing your ideas!

"Being able to get my co-workers and friends together for an event that helped at-risk youth allowed us all to have a great time and feel good about it. I’d never hosted a large event before, but this site provided me with all the tools I needed. We all had such a great experience that we’re planning to host another event next year!
