Legacy Circle

Established in 2004, the Legacy Circle honors those friends who have included The Home in their will. Their vision and enduring commitment ensure The Home’s effectiveness for coming generations. A bequest creates a perpetual link between the donor and The Home and is a testament to the donor’s passion to better the lives of the vulnerable children and families in our care.

A bequest may be in the form of a percentage of the donor’s estate, a specific dollar amount, the residual of the estate, or a piece of personal, tangible property. Charitable bequests can be planned when a new will is created; or they can be added to an existing will. Estate planning can also result in a significant reduction in gift and estate tax.

All realized bequests are placed in The Home’s endowment fund. Thus, through their foresight and generosity, Legacy Circle members are securing the future of our programs. As we have for more than 200 years, we can continue to deliver consistently high-quality programs to serve the ever-changing needs of the children in our care.

For further information about establishing a bequest to The Home, or if you have already made provisions in your will for The Home and would like to be recognized as a member of the Legacy Circle, please contact:
