Big Wishes Gift Drive
Joy and hope. These two words capture the essence of the holiday season at The Home for Little Wanderers. There are countless stories of children and families who experienced the magic of the holidays. The boy living in residential care who smiled for the first time in weeks when he opened the gift he never imagined he'd actually get. The mother overwhelmed by a trunkload of gifts delivered by her social worker when she thought she'd have nothing to give her kids this year...
None of this would have been possible without your generous support! Corporations, foundations, individuals and community groups across Massachusetts stepped up and helped us make so many wishes come true. We feel enormous gratitude to each and every one of you.
Your help came in many forms: cash donations, gifts to fulfill children's wishes, much-needed essentials for families, and participation in our gift card challenge. Countless hours were given freely by our dedicated volunteers. We had huge support from our corporate sponsors, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and Bernie & Phyl's Furniture, and our media partners, WCVB-TV Channel 5, MAGIC 106.7 and the Boston Herald.
