Voices & Visions 2014
At the Seaport World Trade Center on May 21, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of The Home’s annual Voices & Visions gala and art exhibit. Guests viewed the creative artwork and writing of children served by The Home's programs, on the theme of “I Dream a World” — view examples of the art and photos from the event here. In addition to the exhibit, the evening included a silent auction, dinner, and program. As part of our celebration, we honored Joanne Y. Jaxtimer, Regional Executive at BNY Mellon. A highlight of the evening was the Sam Marinella award which went to Board Member Tim Miner and his family, who opened their home to a group of siblings struggling to stay together. The Miners’ journey to becoming foster parents is a unique one that has changed their views towards the meaning of family. It was a wonderful evening, raising over $1.1 million in much needed funds for The Home's programs.
On behalf of all the children and families we serve, our heartfelt thanks to the corporations, individuals and foundations who made this event such a spectacular success through their sponsorship and support.
