As a leader in the field of child welfare, The Home for Little Wanderers is committed to pursuing research and evaluation endeavors to inform organizational learning and management.

The mission of the Performance & Outcomes division of the Operations Department is to provide support and expertise in continuous quality improvement, program evaluation, and outcomes to the programs and departments of The Home, so that we are consistently in a position to respond effectively to the following questions for ourselves and others: Are we helping? How do we know?

The Operations Department also leads the agency’s quality improvement activities and assists The Home with integrating best practices into all aspects of its work. It strives to continuously assess and improve the quality of services provided to children, families and communities.
