The Home’s Center for Permanency is both a dedicated program and the backbone of our agency-wide approach to ensuring every child has a stable, lifelong family connection. Rooted in the belief that children thrive in families, the center shapes the practices, services and philosophy that guide all of The Home’s work to help children stay home, go home or find a home.
Through core programs including Adoption, Comprehensive Foster Care and Youth Permanent Connections, the Center for Permanency provides the therapeutic, emotional and practical supports children and young adults need to build and sustain lasting connections.
As co-founder of the Massachusetts Permanency Practice Alliance (MPAA), The Home also drives system-wide improvements and advances public policies that strengthen families and improve outcomes across the child welfare landscape.
Whether reuniting a child with their family, connecting teens with caring adults or helping young people transition to independence, the Center for Permanency ensures that our youth have the consistent, supportive relationships that are essential for healthy development and long-term stability.
