Child And Family Counseling Center

HELPING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES THRIVE.

The Home’s Child and Family Counseling Center (CFCC) is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to supporting children, adults and families navigating emotional, behavioral, developmental and academic challenges.

We provide treatment, therapy and prevention services, medication management, psychiatry consultation and neuropsychological testing to individuals from birth through adulthood. Our counseling and specialty services are delivered in homes, at our counseling center, and are embedded in more than 90 schools throughout Greater Boston. We know that flexibility matters to our families, and we are proud to offer convenient telehealth options when clinically appropriate.

Our clinicians and prescribers deliver care focused on helping children and their families thrive.

The CFCC’s school-based program provides essential support for children who are struggling with one or more aspect of their lives. Our clinical team tailors services to each child’s unique needs, working to address challenges that affect success at school, at home, and in the community. By partnering closely with families, teachers, school staff, doctors and community organizations, we ensure children receive consistent, practical support when they need it most.

WE SERVE CHILDREN WHO:
  • Experience emotional barriers that prevent academic success
  • Have difficulty coping with changes in their lives
  • Struggle with motivation or are disruptive in class
  • Are anxious, sad, angry, overly sensitive, easily frustrated and distracted
  • Struggle with aggression, rule-breaking and being destructive
  • Have difficulty in their relationships with peers, teachers and family
  • May need additional testing beyond their public-school testing
